Biography

Lyndon spent the first half of his life living and travelling in many African countries. He spent a decade during his 20's studying West African percussion, and playing with various bands and drum and dance groups in Dorset. 10 years ago he began playing handpan, which is now his main instrument. Lyndon spent 2 years working with PanAmor Handpans in Exeter helping to build these beautiful instruments, and had a hand in building most of the instruments that he performs with. He also produces ambient electronic music under the name 'Phorl'. Lyndon has had his music played on BBC Introducing in the South West and and on BBC Radio 3.

Lyndon has performed with numerous bands, as a duo with his wife Laura and as a solo musician. Recently he had the honour of performing alongside 5 internationally renowned musicians - Pandit Sanju Sahai, Dr. Rajeeb Chakraborty, Danny Keane, Jason carter and Jesse Bannister - as part of the 'Thrive festival 2023' in the Great hall at Dartington.

 He regularly performs at weddings and other events as well as running percussion, handpan and intuitive music making workshops through his Community Interest Company, 'We Need Music CIC'.
